Sonya Sahni

When Sonya isn’t working on brands, she is working out in the gym. Since you can’t fly with one wing, she needs to land at a café and knock off two coffees everyday. Sonya like to travel, trek, and take part in marathons.

Her professional journey is a 20-year marathon. Sonya is an accomplished marketing professional and a Digital evangelist, with over 2 decades of experience in creating integrated, multi-channel digital marketing & employer branding campaigns.

Prior to Pomelo, Sonya co-founded iStrat and successfully divested her stake to Publicis Groupe. There she had had the opportunity to lead a terrific team who won at several award shows, the awards include a Cannes Silver for the Adopt a Pothole campaign for Apollo Tyres and CMO Asia Awards for Best Social Campaigns for Bharti AXA GI.

She is a terrific speaker and has participated in various industry events such as the Exchange for Media Round Table for Digital and been a part of the Jury at the EFFIES. She is also a part of the Employer Branding & Digital Community worldwide, bringing the best practices to India.

Through her career, Sonya has worked at various managerial roles in large corporations and brands, including but not limited to, Nestle, Maruti Suzuki, Marriott Hotels, Fortis Healthcare, Citibank, Bharti AXA GI , Google India, TOSHIBA, Sandisk, and Freecharge.

And now in her new avatar, she wants to shift from the marathon to the 100 metres dash, with your brand, at momentum.
